Inaugural Forum 2017

THE OIL INDUSTRIES CLUB INAUGURAL FORUM WAS HELD AT THE BARLEY MOW, LONDON SW1.

Raphael Vermeir CBE (formally with Conoco Phillips) gave an entertaining talk to some 20 Club members and guests about the difficulties of operating oil production facilities in Nigeria. The risk to assets and production is an immense challenge for those operating in the region, but with the guidance of experienced oil company executives such as Raphael, Nigeria continues to be an important revenue source for the International Oil Companies operating there.

A further forum is planned in 2018.
